Academic Counseling and Study Guidance
The academic counseling and study guidance system bridges the Open University's open admissions policy and its academic requirements. It supplements the teaching system and accompanies the students throughout their studies by providing academic counseling and study guidance, and solutions to individual learning difficulties. The service is provided to all Open University students. Special services are available for students with learning disabilities.
The academic counseling offers orientation sessions and explanations for prospective students.
Academic counseling
Academic counseling is provided by Open University faculty and departmental advisors (field-specific counseling), and by general advisors (general counseling) at the Open University campus in Raanana and at the Open University's study centers throughout the country.
Before consulting an advisor, students are advised to read the pages below, in accordance with the topic about which they need clarification.
