Final examinations

Examinations are usually conducted at Israeli diplomatic missions (embassies and consulates) abroad. When registering, students are asked to indicate at which diplomatic mission they wish to take the examination.

The Open University will determine the examination location on the basis of the student's request and existing options and conditions. Students will be informed of the University decision along with the examination notification sent approximately one month prior to the examination date. Students abroad are tested on one sitting (for each course) in a semester. The second sitting will take place on the date of the examination in the following semester (unlike the situation in Israel, where the second sitting takes place one month after the first).

Registering for examinations

Students studying abroad must sign up for examinations up to one month before the date of the exam. In the event that students do not plan to take the exam, they must cancel the registration at least three days before the exam date. Registering for exams and cancelling registration can be done via Sheilta. Students who sign up for an exam and do not take it, without canceling in advance, will be charged a fee.
