Objectives: The course aims to impart and apply analysis tools for solving financial models. The course focuses on the conversion of a theoretical formulation of various models into a structure allowing for the application of models as tools for financial decision-making using an electronic spreadsheet (Excel).
Topics: Application of models in the following areas – budgeting activities and the equilibrium point, capital budgeting and the discount rate (investment profitability and sensitivity analysis), pro forma reports and business plans, company valuation, investment portfolios – stocks and bonds.
