The workshop provides an elementary acquaintance with radio production and genres, and with the multifaceted possibilities that this medium offers. Students gain experience in operating digital studio facilities. Among other things, they practice their abilities as announcers and are encouraged to nourish an individual creative style. The relationship between the oral and written word is examined, as are the principles of radio editing. The history of the radio in general and in Israel in particular is also discussed.
