Credits: 4 advanced credits in Accounting

Prerequisites: 36 credits, including Consolidated Financial Statements, Intermediate Financial Accounting I, Intermediate Financial Accounting II. Students must also fulfill all English requirements and take bibliographic instruction in the Library.

This is the most advanced course in financial accounting included in studies toward the BA in Accounting. The course is updated according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS 2010). It provides students with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, standards and reporting methods of the following issues:

Topics: Accounting for convertible securities and stock warrants; Earnings per share; Introduction to accounting for price changes; Foreign currency translation; Segmental financial reporting.
