Academic Excellence
Outstanding high school students enrolled at the Open University who meet the criteria listed below will receive a certificate attesting to their academic excellence over the past academic year.
Students may not apply for certificates.
Certificates are awarded on two levels:
1. |
President's list (magna cum laude) - weighted grade average of 95 and above |
2. |
Dean's list (cum laude) - weighted grade average of 90-94 |
High school students are awarded certificates provided they meet the criteria detailed in Open University publications.
Scholarships for outstanding students
Outstanding student scholarships will be awarded to some President's List students. The scholarship amounts will be determined by the Dean of Students.
Students may not apply for outstanding student scholarships.
