Academic Counseling

The Open University's academic advisors provide assistance in selecting or designing a program of study suitable to the student's wishes and scholastic background, selecting courses, and also deciding whether to register for University courses and at what age. We recommend that students also consult with the advisors in matters related to changes in the program of study, and course changes or deferrals. Among the more than 100 academic advisors, are those who specialize in counseling high school students. You can consult the general advisors (listed in the table of study centers) or field-specific advisors (listed below).

High school students must receive written approval from an academic advisor in order to register for their first course.
