Word Formation in Modern Hebrew

Raphael Nir

This book deals with morphological and sociolinguistic trends of the coining of neologisms in modern Hebrew. It shows how an ancient language adapts itself to the needs of a modern society, through an analysis of the classical and modern ways by which new lexical entries are derived.
