If you are seeking permission to reprint copyright material from an Open University title, please send the following details regarding the extract or figure to the Permissions Department with your request to reproduce the material:

• author and title of book from which extract is taken
• year of publication and edition
• page number
• a copy of the extract that is to be reproduced

In addition, please supply the following information about your book (i.e the book in which the extract will be reproduced):

• title
• names of author(s)/editor(s)
• size of the print run
• proposed publication date
• price of the book
• estimated length

Before submitting a request, please check if the material to be used is credited to another source; if so, permission must be obtained from the credited source rather than from The Open University. Credits may appear with the material, or in a separate acknowledgments section in the back of the book.
