10523 Business Ethics 1
Credits: 6 advanced credits in Management or in Economics
Prerequisites: 36 credits, including Introduction to Microeconomics. Students must also fulfill all English requirements and take bibliographic instruction in the Library.

Objectives: To introduce the student to the ethical concepts relevant to coping with moral problems in business; To identify ethical issues in various areas of business activity; To develop critical thinking and ethical analysis skills required to apply moral principles to business decisions; To introduce the student to actual moral dilemmas through case studies from Israeli and international business contexts.
The materials include the textbook and a reader containing selected articles and case studies from Israel and the world.
1Students may write a seminar paper in this course, although it is not required.
