10161 Introduction to the Social Sciences
Credits: 3 introductory credits in Sociology & Anthropology or in Political Science or in Communication

The course is based on a Hebrew translation of the Open University (UK) course “An Introduction to the Social Sciences” (2000). It is an introduction to basic concepts in the various knowledge areas in the Social Sciences.
Topics: The family, the employment market, globalization. In studying these topics, students familiarize themselves with the different perspectives of the social science disciplines: sociology, political science, economics and psychology.
