This course is a continuation of Music at First Sight (10148). It presents additional selections representing various styles and periods of the musical repertoire through listening and analyzing them, using tools accessible to beginners. The course emphasizes ear training and practicing the theoretical tools acquired in Music at First Sight. The materials include recordings of musical examples which are an integral part of the course. Students require a keyboard (piano or organ) for home practice and one can be loaned them.
