Required: Familiarity with basic high school algebra on a 3-point matriculation level
The course is designed for students interested in acquiring basic knowledge in natural sciences and for students planning to specialize in Sciences.
Topics: Scientific thinking – analysis of Galileo’s discoveries; Motion and force – Newton’s laws; Conservation laws; Electric and magnetic fields; Waves; Light – wave and particle; Atom models; Kinetic theory of gases; Diversity of atoms; Chemistry in action; The special theory of relativity.
