Objectives: To improve literacy and written expression express for those for whom Hebrew is not their first language. The course is suitable for those who have studied Hebrew as a second language, and have at least intermediate knowledge of it.

The course provides tools for better understanding of texts and prepares students for writing assignments required in academic studies at the Open University. During the course, individual workshops will be offered to students who need assistance. For that reason, active participation in the tutorial sessions is required.

Topics: Phrase structure; Writing a paragraph, writing an essay; Vocabulary enrichment; Familiarity with Hebrew dictionaries; Idioms and proverbs; Acronyms; The verbal system; Conjunctions and prepositions; Using numbers correctly.
