The course deals with electromagnetic waves and transmitting/receiving devices for such waves. It provides the students with basic knowledge of the principles and concepts underlying wave theory, electromagnetism and transmitting/receiving devices and systems. It is intended for physics students who wish to focus on the area of electromagnetism.
Topics: Introduction to electromagnetic fields; electromagnetic waves; transmission lines; antennas and wave propagation.
