20375 Seminar: Special Topic in Computer Science

Credits: 3 advanced seminar credits in Computer Science

Prerequisites: At least 36 credits in Computer Science. Students must also fulfill all English requirements and take bibliographic instruction in the Library. Only students who have successfully completed, or are about to complete, at least one advanced course in Computer Science may enroll in a seminar. Specific prerequisites may be required, among them specific course grades. Seminar enrollment is subject to written approval of the faculty member responsible for seminars.

The aim of the seminars is to introduce students to advanced theoretical or practical topics in Computer Science. The seminar content and structure is determined by the seminar supervisor for each student. Students investigate an advanced topic, prepare and submit a final paper or project, and present their study in a lecture to faculty members and students.

Note: The number of students in each seminar is limited. Not all seminars are offered each semester.
