20251 Workshop: Molecular Chemistry 1

This workshop is based on Molecular Chemistry (20232). It includes theoretical material and a hands-on laboratory session on topics in organic and inorganic chemistry. Five mandatory 6-hour laboratory sessions are conducted in the Open University laboratory. Students are required to study and prepare background information on each topic, submit a laboratory report and a summary assignment. The number of students in the course is limited.

Topics: Synthesis and analysis; The chemistry of color; Isomerism and mechanisms; Metals and cycles.
