The course presents an introduction to basic terms of phonology and its place in linguistics; the differentiation between theoretical terms (phonemes) and production of sounds; basic characteristics of modern and ancient Hebrew phonology and influences of other languages on it. The course is designed for students of linguistics, teachers, actors, radio and TV announcers, lecturers, and public speakers.
